See Wild Dolphins and Snorkel on Oahu

Looking to see wild dolphins, including the Hawaiian Spinner Dolphin (called nai‘a in Hawaiian)? Then we invite you to join us during our popular Dolphin Star BBQ & Snorkel Watch cruise – not only could you spot dolphins leaping in the air alongside our 149-passenger vessel, but you’ll also get the chance to dive into the water and see them playing in their natural habitat!

Our other aquatic pals will also greet you after taking the plunge into the ocean. While you snorkel, it’s not uncommon to see these friendly sea creatures: honu (Hawaiian sea turtles), hihimanu (spotted eagle rays), humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa (trigger fish – also Hawaii’s state fish), uhu (parrot fish) and wana (sea urchin).

On our vessel, we will explore the Waianae Coast, which boasts some of the most crystal clear and clean waters. Our certified Naturalists and Captain will also provide expert narration for an unforgettable trip.

The Wild Dolphin BBQ & Snorkel Watch departs from Waianae Boat Harbor at 12:00 p.m., followed by the Captain’s briefing, dolphin watching, snorkeling and lunch. The vessel disembarks at 3:00 p.m. and drops off in Waikiki at 4:30 p.m. For more information, visit https://www.dolphin-star.com/cruises/.
